I have been attending Dee's weekly yoga classes now for over a year. Dee is a highly motivated and inspirational yoga teacher. The benefits I have found are that have kept injury free and supple, despite playing energetic tennis four times a week. Also I can rotate my body and neck a lot further - very useful when looking behind to reverse my car. Additionally, I can reach objects on high shelves much more easily, owing to the increased flexibility in my spine.
I recommend that you join her classes as I am sure you will benefit greatly too.
